Het laatste gaatje

Er staat nog één dag open om in te vullen voor deze vakantie, vrijdag 1 mei. Die avond gaan wij blues luisteren maar overdag stond nog open. Aangezien de blues tent in DC zit en wij pas 1 dag DC zelf doen wordt de laatste dag ingevuld met de diverse buurten die Washington ons te bieden heeft.

De highlights per buurt:

  The east end: Chinatown, Old post office tower (hoogste punt van DC) & The Penn quarter
  The west end: The white house & Ellipse
• West
  Georgetown: The exorcist steps, Georgetown University, parken, winkels, café la ruche (lunch)
  Northwest: The zoo
  
• North central
  Dupont circle: Spanish steps, The circle
  Shaw: U street corridor, Thurghood Marshall centre, Mocha Hut (koffie)
  Adams-Morgan: Ons house of blues: Madams Organ
